Boy did I blow it yesterday. I'm quickly learning how many calories are in foods that I didn't think were as bad as they are. Two slices of pizza (triple meat italiano) is 760 calories. Ugggg.... Of course I should know this....all that meat and cheese. Definitely not going to eat that again. Back on track today. Still need to ramp up the exercise. We're still working on the house during all our free time so I guess that counts for something. Onward!!

Did fairly well the past week and half. So many stressful issues in my life right now and I've really have to remember that all the crazy situations are not excuses to eat. Sigh....wish there was an end to all the madness.

Got in a 10.15 minute mile on the elliptical last night! Who-hoo!! Boy was I sweating. I was on a mission. Alternated between level 2 and 3 during most of the workout, staying at level 1 to warm up fo about a minute and finishing up at 1 to cool down. Total time - 16 minutes. Felt really good. Now....to make exercise and healthy eating habits a life long habit.

Too tired to get up and exercise this morning. By the time we got back from the vet (8 pm appointment)and the kids left (we thought they'd be gone before we got back), we just wanted to go to bed. Elliptical is definitely on my schedule for this afternoon. If anyone shows up, they'll just have to sit tight until I'm done. At some point I have to allow myself some me time. Now's the time :) On track calorie wise but I'm thinking that I need to lower my calories some until I'm more consistantly active. Tyroid disease slows everything down and having to be so, so careful with fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grain/high fiber foods also makes things tricky. I'll get it figured out though. I will absolutely not be defeated!!!

Well...thought I was going to get in some additional exercise on the elliptical but Marcus and family were pulling in the driveway at the same time I was. So...no exercise, a sandwich for dinner. I gotta get in the habit of getting it all done in the morning. I never know who's going to show up when. I love my kids ......but wish they wouldn't just show up right when I get home from work. It throws my whole schedule off. I love them but need to unwind when I get home. Oh well......I love them and should be grateful they enjoy coming over. It could be the other way around. Is it wrong for me to feel a little resentful?
