Coffee in the morning, ham and salami and cheese sandwich on 12 grain bread for lunch and hubby made piggies in a blanket for dinner, I had one. half a gallon of water today but I got a nap in finally, short, but a nap none the less!!! I needed that!
262 calories burned today within 7381 steps. tomorrow is my birthday party and I can guarantee that I will NOT be sticking to any sort of diet or restricted caloric intake! Bowling party IN COSTUME.. yep.. costume party with pizza, soda, beer, cake, ice cream the whole shabang THEN I am going to get a fire in the fire pit and smores and more adult drinks... (which I say I will but 98% chance is I wont... I usually never do) but I am not even going to wear my Body Bugg because I am shutting off my diet brain tomorrow.. but now I am exhausted so i am off to bed.. Hopefully this cold will be gone and I will have energy again in the morning!

I think I missed my journal from yesterday.. I had to drive a hundred miles to pick my son up from the hospital, he was supposed to have one last surgery on his broken hand (he was hit by a truck on Sunday, had a tib/fib compound fracture in his right leg, a titanium rod placed in his leg, a spiral fracture of his index finger and a compound fracture of his middle finger both on his right hand) when the doctor got him in the operating room and did the x rays again to see what they were working with before cutting him open, she discovered sometime between Monday and Thursday, his middle finger break had reset itself to PERFECT alignment, she was hard pressed to find the break when looking at the x ray. they got him out of the operating room and 8 hours later he was finally released, then we had to go find a pharmacy that was open to fill his meds and make the drive back that same hundred miles... I was a bit spent.. I know I should not make excuses and I really am not, just explaining that sometimes life happens and our plans have to modify to fit the circumstances..

I had 2 cups of coffee in the morning, a grilled cheese sandwich from the hospital cafeteria, then I broke down and had a Carl's Jr Guac burger and zucchini.. I know I am in the no fast food challenge, but I had a week from hell and couldn't live off of protein bars any more.. if it matters, my stomach still isnt right from eating it; although with every bite I swear I took one step further into heavenly bliss! was it worth it? yeah, I have to say it was, will I do it again any time soon, nahhh.. I eat at Carl's jr once a year if that.. I'm good for a long while now.. I did drink my gallon of water, and I met my calorie burn goal, was 4,000 steps shy of my 5 mile goal, and did not get a work out in.. I start my new job next week so it will be easier to get a routine down that includes everything that needs to be done

I took my girls to school today, went to a job interview, dropped my youngest son off at his grandmothers house, found out my oldest son wasnt getting released from the hospital today.. tomorrow after he gets his second surgery he will be released hopefully.

I fought this sinus infection and chest cold and it whooped me BAD... I couldnt get enough water in at all today.. I think I drank close to 2 gallons of water, I ate half a cantaloup and bowl of top ramen and that's it... I cant hardly eat anything as raw as my throat is... I f this owie continues tomorrow I'll switch to slimfast or some sort of protein shake.

one way or another tomorrow is my last slack day with numbers and such.. sick or not I'll have to get something going on.,.. I get so crabby when I miss out on my walks and games... and when I dont have 4 alarms going off on my Body Bugg each day saying I met my target, I get pissy...
