losing 4.2 lb a week

I have found that the body needs to heal and that should be the focus of any weight loss endeavor. For me, I have thyroid issues, chronic fatigue, constant muscle soreness and weakness and skin breakouts. At least I did before I started eating whole foods plant-based diet. I started a while ago trying to find a weight loss plan I could stick to that made me feel healthy. I tried Ketogenic for years and it made me so tired that there were days I did not want to get up in the morning. I did weight watchers and Paleo. I started Bright Line eating which was a blessing because it gave me the structure to drop my bad habits. The food amounts, however, were too restrictive and while I did lose weight, I still felt sick. And that's the thing. We want to feel good ultimately. The weight loss is the product of a balanced and healthy body. Right now, I'm eating all fresh fruits and veggies because that's what I'm craving. Im in a wheelchair so my calorie needs are low but I could get more than enough calories if needed. I feel better. A LOT better. So simple. Just jump off the Western Diet food track and forge my own road for my own needs and I feel better. The weight loss is just a bonus. Forks over Knives is a must-see for anyone who is curious about a different way of healing. I watched it years ago but it took breaking down to adapt it. I'm so grateful I am living this way now.
