aaarr what to do when you eat out with new friends ?!
Went out last night and friend kindly ordered starters for us both..which included the evil bread. I had a small piece of the bread but I'm gutted as I didn't really even want it ..or enjoy it. I should've just said I trying to eat healthily but I get so coy about my 'fat secret' lol
Plan to go for a run today to make myself feel better.

Right..in the last 9 months I have put on 30 lbs and it's taken me 3 of those months to convince myself that the scales and my tight clothes are not an illusion.
Today I started on the Atkins diet..which I know works for me... if I stick to it. I have a weakness for bread, but it doesn't like me, nor does all the baking I enjoy doing/eating.
In the last year I've been cooking away most nights, diligintly following recipe books and creating some yummy dinners for my new hubby. All of which have left their mark on my hips and bum in particular. My once slim waist now squigges up when I sit or wear tight trousers and I don't feel good!
I hope to find some good Atkin friendly recipes so I can continue following my food passion.
I have to say, first day was tough though. Hope to have a good day tomorrow.
