It's going as planned. Just need to drink more water. Frankly, I need more energy. Not doing any exercise. But I don't fall off the wagon on the food. I don't deny myself, but I don't binge. It's only me and the dog here. If I barbeque a steak for the dog and me, I give him some an I have some. No problem--not a large portion, but not a small one either. When we have the steak, I go all out on occasion and make a baked potato and maybe allot myself a third of the potato and yes, no butter, but I do put about a tsp of sour cream on it or maybe some salad dressing (ranch). No breads, but if I need something like that I use these egg wraps they have out or keto friendly tortillas, but not often.

Spaghettis squash is good also. I could eat that seven days a week. I find I don't eat that much nor do I have the cravings.

Also, try Magic Spoon cereal - Keto friendly low carbs and brings me back to when I was a kid - Cocoa Puffs! They have different flavors - all good. I use Flax milk - unsweetened fiber based mild- to get around the fat. It's good, you can sweeten it if you want, but the cereal has a sweetness to it. Put some fruit in there and you are good to go.

I feel good.. Doctor does blood work on me every couple of months.. and my glucose intolerance/insulin resistance issue has cleared itself up. BMI down to 24.5. Still have high levels of the bad cholesterols, but the good cholesterols are going up. She asked if I was really tired a lot. And I have been--so I am taking some thyroid medication to fix that.

Also, when I get this full blood test workup, it spit out on the printout that I was dehydrated. I had no idea it would pick something like that up. So, I am working on drinking more water as opposed to drinking Coke Zero. I admit it. I think Tab, Diet Rite Cola, Diet Pepsi and Coke Zero is close to being the "nectar of the gods.".

Hope everyone is doing great... and feeling good. All we have to do is keep on keeping on.

Almost there. Now I need to work out or get cosmetic surgery. And since I have no money for surgery, it will be exercise.

Had my bloodwork done again and going back to the doctor for a consultation so she can review the results. I have this fancy scale--the doc has a better one. My BMI is down in the 33% range now and the percentage of fat to muscle is down a lot lower--cannot remember the number. At one time my percentage of fat to muuscle was 54%. I don't know how that works, but it seemed almost impossible. Losing weight and still have such a high fat percentage. I will ask the doc about it.

Went down another pants size - now a 12 and about ready to go down to 10.

I just don't have the interest in food that I used to have. And I eat less.

However, I will post my feeling about thi: I ordered this keto cereal -I mean it is really low in carbs. I got a variety pack: looks like cocoa puffs, then cookies and cream and something else. Then I got their keto breakfast bars. The site is called Magic Spoon. I like flax milk and use that--high in fiber and low net carbs. Plus I don't use much flax milk anyway.

It is coming off fine. I don't eat like I used to. Gravitating more towards vegetables---that's how I came up with the name Spaghetti Squash. I made Pumpkin Spice muffins Keto style, with cream cheese frosting-- fake sugar --swerve. I had one and it did the trick. And I did not gain. I eat fruit. Meat.. My dog and I had steak and baked potato. I didn't eat it all, but I didn't feel deprived.

Watermelon and grapes work for me. I just don't get the cravings for crazy stuff often. If I really want pizza, I get one. But I am full on a slice or even a half slice with a salad. I do that for a couple of days, the pizza goes stale and it goes in the trash.

But it's mainly vegetables, fruit, salad, fish, boiled shrimp...
And I don't eat big piles of food. However, I do still load up my plate with massive piles. Why? Have no idea. The spaghetti squash with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and a bit of cheese--yes I love that.

And water--upped my water. Never gained this amount of weight in all my life, but never have I lost it this comfortably. I had to get it off--worrying about it turning into diabetes. So I am down 45 lbs. Never weighed 219 lbs in my life. I never even told my family.

Another thing-- not sure if anyone thinks like this. I have a different self image. If there wasn't a scale, I did not realize I gained. I would look in the mirror and I did not see any weight gain. I only noticed when I had to go to larger jeans sizes. I would look in the mirror and think I looked fine always. Then I got on the scale (hardly ever did it) and about passed out.

Hanging in there and trying to work in some exercise without getting COVID. I try but man, it is hard working out at the gym with a mask on. I run in the bathroom or lift it up for a second to breathe. I can't help it. Keep going, people, on whatever you want to do.

Went down to 178.7. Going to the doc next week to check everything out.

These medications do change my appetite and my cravings for certain foods. I used to get cravings for cookies and M & Ms and they were heavy duty. Now, I still get cravings but light ones that go away. Also, I am finding I am starting to dislike certain foods I liked before. Yesterday, I ordered from Doordash--a Calzone with spinach, mushrooms, cheese and sausage. They overcooked it. Before I went on my diet medication, I would have eaten anyway. It still would have tasted great. Omg, it was so bad. I couldn't eat it. I also ordered a salad and ended up eating some of that.

I will end up throwing out the calzone. My tastes in foods are changing . Also I cannot eat as much as I used to.

My goal is to get back to exercising. I want to go back to the gym. Worried some about someone spreading around Covid. Doc thinks I should stay out of indoor gyms for now. But that is where I like to go if I exercise.
