I am not making excuses for myself, but I really didn't know I had put on so much weight until I got comfortable enough to take off some of my clothes for the summer! Let me explain, I have Vitiligo (the Michael Jackson condition) which is loss of pigment. Because I was so embarrassed about losing my skin color, I started covering myself with extra clothing so no one could see what I was going through. Now that I have become more comfortable with the condition and learned to cover the portions of my body that could be seen by the public with makeup, I started taking off some of the layers of clothing I was wearing. Wow! Was I shocked at what I was seeing.

So although I didn't do so well on Weight Watchers the first few weeks, November 1 was my day of reckoning and I decided to count my points to the letter!

2 cups whole grain cereal 6 pts, 1 banana 2 pts, 1 cup 2% milk 3 pts, 1 small apple 1, 10 min exercise +1, 1 wedge light french onion dip 1 pt, 10 mini carrots 0, 15 reduced fat potato chips 3 pts, lettuce 0 pts, fat free dressing 0 pts, 1/2 cup peaches 1, 1/2 cup fat free cottege cheese 2 pts, 2 cups whole grain cereal 6 pts, 4 slices reduced calorie bread 2 pts, 2.5 oz turkey 3 pts, 2 slices swiss cheese 2 pts, 48 oz lemon water 0 pts, 2 snack size almond joys 4 pts, 1 small apple 1 pt, 1/2 no sugar added ice cream 3 pt, 15 reduced fat potato chips 3 pts, and 1 wedge light french onion dip 1.

I've been pretty down about my success on WW or lack of success! But Monday November 1st was the start of a new beginning for me. I stuck to the plan, got in all of my water, all of my milk, all of my fruits and vegetables. Added some protein and some whole grains and I'm good to go!

2 cups whole grain cereal 6 pts, 1 banana 2 pts, 1 cup 2% milk 3 pts, 15 reduced fat potato chips 3 pts, 1 small wedge light french onion dip 1 pt, 1 large apple 2 pts, 1 yogurt 2 pts, 1/2 cup no sugar added ice cream 3 pts, salad with green pepper and apple slices with 2.5 oz turkey with fat free dressing, 4 pts, 4 reduced calorie slices of bread 2 pts, 2.5 ozs turkey 3 pts, 1 hot cocoa mix 1 pt, 15 potato chips 3 pts and 1 light french onion dip 1 pt.
48 oz water

36 pts total! My 34 daily points + 2 points of my bonus points.
felt great! no feelings of guilt!
