Yay! I'm actually going in the right direction! And I don't feel hungry or deprived. For the most part, I've been sticking to a vegan diet, which surprisingly, is not far off from what I normally used to eat. I'll easy meat and dairy (cheese is a big weakness so I only buy I it sparingly) here and there if I have it, but I generally only buy produce and whole grains.

Since returning home from vacation with my family, I've been doing well with portion size and sticking to my whole-foods plan -- that is, I bought mostly non-processed, organic grains and produce. I don't eat a lot of meat or dairy (except cheese!) so I didn't buy any on my first grocery trip. It's not really a huge change from what I would normally buy, but I still fight the call and convenience of fast food.
Exercise has been tough because of the broken tailbone and the limited flexibility in my hip after my summer injury, but I made it through an hour of yoga on Sunday, and I've been walking daily. Already, there is some ROM improvement in the hip, so I'll definitely be back at yoga again on Sunday, but I pout a little every time I see my Tuesday/Wednesday pilates reminder on my phone knowing that I won't be able to go to one of those classes until my tailbone heals. :(
