Just got back from my daily workout and did everything to statisfy day one of the two challenges I'm taking on. 55 minutes on the bike netted me 14 miles which went smooth till the last five minutes or so when my knees started to give up on me and I cut my hour short by five minutes fearing doing more damage to my legs and morale then the worth of five more minutes riding. As for My 100 crunches and 50 push ups, I knew the crunches were going to hurt but I couldn't have anticipated how difficult the push ups were going to be.... I have really let myself go since high school and I know I have a long way to go but I am working on it and am more determined than ever. Time for another Liter (or two) of water and a shower! Today is Day 5 of a regime of regular workouts. I have managed to go everyday after work this week and am about to hit the gym after this entry. I am doing at least half an hour of cardio (elliptical, treadmill, or stationary bike) followed by weight lifting and ab exercises. I need to work on my eat habits and make sure I am not snacking nor am I missing out on food groups while eating. Lost of work to go and man am I sore but I have a new determination to get this done. OoRah.

Gave up Soda and Fastfood for Lent. Need to eat more veg and lean meat at home. Not eating out, going to the gym everyday is the goal. 50lbs to lose.
