Having struggled with Atkins induction, thinking I was following it properly I switched over to GI diet. Reading GI diet books is very informative and I now see where I failed.
Mind set is strong, weight is coming off, I still have so much to learn and prepare to be successful at this diet, but its more flexible than the high protien Atkins.

Thought I'd try GI diet and see what it will do. Been trying to follow Atkins but run into problems with acceptable foods being available when visiting friends. I'm also interested in the GI/Menopause book information in hopes it will address specific issues associated with menopause
