Alrighty!
I don't write much in this journal but sure am meticulous on keeping up with my food and excercise so I am ok with that for now.

Wow...I am mentally all over the place....

I HAVE to get out of this damned paranoia about feeling like everyone is watching me and judging me. WTF is my problem? I look around and NO ONE is looking at me and judging me, and I rellize that, but I still feel it. Have I let it get so far and allow my self esteem to get THAT low?! SAD

I have been going to the gym and sticking to this low carb diet. (if that's what you would call it) It's amazing how much I can eat and I don't seem to ever be hungry anymore! Occasionally after the gym I am famished, but since I only go after work it's dinner time anyways. I can cram alot of food in, however it's good proteins and veggies so I am good with that. Just not too too much and not too late in the evening.

I think my biggest obstacle is drinking enough water. I am NOT a big fan and have been trying to choke down at least 4 bottles a day, which is a big deal to me since I am not really a "thirsty person". The MIO drops, especially the Great Value brand from Wal mart in the grape flavor have been a godsend. But I can't stop thinking about how bad DIET soda is for you and almost compare these wonderful water savior drops to be comparable. Do you think I am doing more harm than good and should stick with just plain 'ole water? UGH...I hope not!
It has been a big deal for me to give up my Coca Cola habit. Oh how I miss that wonderful carbonated sweetness... NO!!! You dont miss it!
On a cheat day have a very small glass of DIET something or other and MOVE ON! I know 4 bottles of water a day is still not enough and I REALLY need to work harder at this!

I have been busting my ass at the gym. It's mostly only walking and SOME using the machines in the 30 minute circuit, but very little. It seems though, that I really enjoy walking, especially at the gym. I blast my Pink Floyd The Wall or Rush 2112 and I go into my own little world. I people watch and watch the silent Tv's and before I know it. 3 miles are behind me.
I went yesterday after work all prepared to get "in the zone". I put on my headphones, adjusted the fans and was ready to go. After 20 minutes I was struggling and after 30 I thought my leg muscles we going to explode. NOTE TO SELF: It is OKAY to take a day off to recover! It is a good thing to recover!
Needless to say, I left the gym after only 1.5 miles, but that is still better than going home and sitting on my ass in front of the TV.
Today is my recovery day and i will not go to the gym, no matter how bad I want to or think I should.

Thankfully the people I work with and my friends and family have been UBER supportive. Thank you hubby for being there and taking the inititave to go low carb with me. You the BEST and I love you more than words can express. Sierra, thank you for being my biggest fan and telling me how proud you are of me. Good luck on your new job honey. YOU CAN DO THIS!
