26/6/12:
It's been nearly a full month since I changed my lifestyle, dumped the junk and started a vigorous exercise routine.. I was afraid to check my weight from the beginning because I knew it would completely dishearten me, but a month later, I thought it would be fine to risk it! To my horror, I am nearly 13 stone (80 kilos). I remember when I was a few years younger being distraught because I was 10 1/2 stone and I truly believed I was "a cow". How wrong was I... I wasted my youth believing I was huge. No more. Sure, I'm a great deal bigger now than then (so drinking loads and partying over two years of college has proven NOT to be in my best interests, surprise surprise!) However, I'm not going to feel disheartened now. I'm on the right track, right? A pound a week? I can do that! I think (I hope). What will kill me is working so hard like I have all month only to see that. the road in front of me is a long one...
