Good luck to everyone this week. Let's just take it one meal at a time. I had a successful weekend. Fell off the wagon on Saturday but was able to get right back on yesterday. Feel so much better today...anxious to weigh in tomorrow. I did realize the importance of tracking my meals. Its amazing how fast those calories add up without even knowing it. Also, need to go to the grocery store and stock up on approved items. Last week I made menus in advance and that just took my opportunity to stray (to some degree anyway). I'm surprised at just how time consuming that process is. Glad I can find time at work to do it because it would be impossible at home...pulled in too many directions once five o'clock hits.

Feb 26, 2013 Ok...today is the day. I know I have said that before but today is going to be different. OK...now I'm certain I've said that before. Anyway, today I mean business. I think I want to document this journey. Journaling as I go...maybe taking pictures of myself so as to see the progress. Tracking and photographing the food items, keeping a strict diary of what I'm eating and what I'm doing in regard to activity, all with the hopes of motivating myself in the process. I'm thinking that if I invest some real time into it maybe I will be less likely to just throw in the towel. So far so good...its only been 4 hours however I felt the morning went smoothly. All the boys managed to get off to school without too much of a fuss. Relatively stress free. Made them a healthy breakfast. Enjoyed a healthy meal with my honey as we were running out the door. Made it to work without a hitch. Still remain relatively unfocused regarding my work. It seems that when I start a diet all I can focus on is my next meal or my next snack. Waiting 16 more minutes before I can indulge in that. Ok...so for the next 16...now 15 minutes I will put my head down and get some work done. Until next time...
