Phantom Fat - when your mind is still in the reality of being fat, even when you have lost considerable weight.
I have been fighting this a bit lately. Mostly just as I am getting in the shower, I will look at myself in the large mirror and feel like I have done nothing substantial with my weight - even though I am down from a 2X to a Large, and about 50lbs, since February.
I do still need to drop 30lbs more to be 'normal BMI' but the feeling of going nowhere even when I'm well over half way is annoying.
Anyone else get that feeling?
