After 4 months of recovery from my ankle surgery, I finally felt positive enough to restart my diet. Put on 20 lb while I was recuperating, kind of expected that, but now I'm in motion again and I'm mentally able to control what I'm eating. I'm not fully recuperated yet by any means, but at least I'm up and moving around without the aid of crutches or my knee scooter. I'm able to put full weight on my ankle at least for short periods.
