I am reaaaaaaaally struggling with eating well for the remainder of the day. My mind keeps thinking about getting take out, or fast food, etc. And I keep pulling my thoughts back to reality to remind myself that my body doesn't need that junk right now. It's really annoying when you have to constantly battle your own thoughts!

I started counting calories yesterday so obviously this loss is water weight, not fat loss but you know what? ...ANY loss feels good and gives you the motivation to continue doing well! Yay! :)

I just got home from a night out with my little sister and the entire way I was talking myself out of getting fast food. I didn't get to eat what I was craving tonight but I did stay within my calories even though it was unhealthy food. It was SO hard to drive straight home and then restrain myself from rummaging through the house for snacks but I am proud to say that I did it.
Baby steps... Rome wasn't built in a day...
Fridays are my weigh in days and since today was my first day back tomorrow will likely not show much, if any, progress but I'm still going to weigh in.

I was good today and left enough calories in my day to enjoy some Mexican food tonight ... Barbacoa tacos and guacamole on the menu tonight. Yum!!

I'm back to using fatsecret after many years being gone. This website is what once helped me to lose 30 lbs. Since I stopped using I've been hopping from one site to the next trying to find success and failing at every turn. I'm not saying the only reason I had success was due to this website nor do I blame the others for failing - but being on here worked for me, so I should stick with what works.
Dinner tonight is going to be a bit difficult. I am headed to Portsmouth for a show with my little sister and that means that if I want to eat dinner, I'll have to get something from one of the restaurants in the area. I'm going to prepare myself though - a bit of research to see what I can choose that's not crazy high in calories and overall healthy.
