I'm so excited! I've been trying to go vegan for so long that doing it alone living with someone who isn't supportive never works. Then my mom today sat me down and she said that she feels as if we need to go vegan together. I was so shocked I never told her about me trying for the past month (March) to go vegan. My mother all her life has been a person who had a terrible mindset that "I buy what I want and I eat what I eat". She never knew how to support me when I was dieting and if I have a cheat day she always said that "you have no willpower". And all I can say to her is you don't know how hard it is. It's like her having the gastric bypass made her a "guru" when it comes to eating healthy. But even with the gastric bypass she still was eating how she wanted to eat. Chips, fried things, ice cream and others. My mother had a gastric bypass a year ago as well as having breast cancer and won in July 2015. She told me this today about the whole vegan thing and I asked her "what made u go vegan or want to?" She said mostly for health benefits. And she doesn't like how the animals die because their stress can get into our system. Now after a year of being on a platou, I actually feel as if there is hope for me and me losing weight or the rest of this weight. I already went from 240 - 165 in 2014 and I felt as if I can't do this alone. It becomes so much harder when your close to your weight goal. I want to overcome this. I hope that other people who read this who are in the same situation can take my story and know that you should not give up hope at all. Just keep on believing in yourself and that if you start with yourself, you can be a example to others. It makes life easier when you have people supporting and doing what you feel is best for your health.

Always preserve and don't allow people to make you fall off track. If you start on a clean slate and your mind is committed, nothing can hold u back and you can even surprise yourself. Just keep going and don't look back
