Just got in from curves, my life has been soooo busy this week. With my new address I'm getting home from work later so I really have to get it in! Yes I have been waking up every morning for about a week to run/walk. I'm making progress. I can do half the block and walk the rest twice! Yaay! Also lost 3lbs this week, although there is the scale discrepancy. But I'm going to err in my favor!

Day 2 I did well yesterday with the 24 hr fast. I ate last night and woke up this morning to go for a walk/run. Actually went on two one by myself and one with my mom and the kids. Had a good breakfast and lunch but then messed it up when my bro came back with donuts and pizza. Uggh my weakness so yes I had a donut and the m&ms I asked for. And then some of the pizza cuz it looked so yummy. Now I've reached my calorie limit so I'm done for the day. Probly will take another walk today to get my blood moving.

I'm back again with a new bag! This time a book by Chantel Hobbs, Love Food Live Well! Very interesting take on this healthy life journey! Her premise is simple, God offers an awesome deal in which we must truly surrender our thoughts, actions and will to His. Which sounds simple but have I really done that in every of my life, including my relationship with food. Her point is that food is not the enemy, actually its the opposite in that it was made to fuel for our bodies and be enjoyed. So she's not offering some new trick or diet but a brain change in the way we are operating. Well my brain change started today, Friday,December 23, 2011 with a fast.
She suggests kicking it off with a one day, 24 hour fast to purify body, mind, and spirit. One trick I know that I've been falling for is this idea that the food will not be there. As if I don't finish it tonight it may not be here tomorrow, and that's simply not true. There's not a shortage. So enough is enough.
On another note I joined up with Curves which was something unexpected but exciting. The Y has been cool but through my insurance I'm now paying half the price and I can even choose other clubs as well. The circuit training for 30 mins 3 times a week doesn't seem like to heavy of a commitment, so I'm starting there.

Another day and no workout. I was all prepared to go but my mom needed me to take her to pick up her car. Which took much longer than either of us anticipated. Nevertheless I ate okay today, I was prepared with my lunch, which reminds me I need to fix before I go to bed. I noticed that I like to eat, which sounds stupid but true. After eating lunch I still had a rice krispies treat and even though I wasn't hungry I ate it anyway. ;(
Gotta work on that.
Another plus was that I did get home and get some house work done. I'm in the process of moving so I got some cleaning and washing in. That still burns calories right!
