I did the 21 day fat burning challenge at NYSAF several months ago and i started to shed pounds like never before! I have not had to measure/weigh every tiny bit of food that goes into my mouth ... it's been more about eating the right amounts of proteins, carbs, fats etc. eating healthier, unprocessed, mostly organic, "cleaner" foods, and doing a whole lot of fat-burning "circuit-like" exercises. So far, i have been able to keep off all those excess pounds i shed. Now i want to start shedding a few more pounds (10-15) to reach what used to be my normal weight of 105-110 lbs. i love this "Fat-Secret" app, but i struggle way too much recording what i eat along with all the caloric info required. It takes too much time for me to find out hiw many calories in 1/4 c. quinoa, 1 c. plantain, etc. I prefer just recording exactly what i ate as long as i follow the general amounts that are recommended for weight loss. The Fat-Secret app is super because it keeps you on check and reminds you via email notifications about the target weight you are striving for, helping you to stay committed.

Ready 2 give up! The exercise part is easy 4 me, but I eat too many carbs! ... Bread and pasta!

I had actually lost almost 2 lbs. but I gained almost 1 lb. back after the extra snacks. This is not easy for me. I need much more focus on my goal. I have many moments of total disappointment and during those times, I feel like giving up. Ugh!

I tried hard to adhere to my chosen meals and snacks yesterday but I messed up big time today. I did not have any breakfast today but then had 2 slices of pizza for lunch today and then had a veggie/cheese omelet with 1/2 cup of salsa for dinner. Although I feel terrible about this, I do not plan to give up. I will start again tomorrow! I know it's going to be a struggle for me in the beginning, but I will keep a positive attitude and continue on.
