The weekend felt a bit rushed with work on both days. I didn't feel like I had much time to relax, but oh well. I'm staying on track. No big cravings or anything like that yet. I've stayed active for at least an hour every day, including today, which is my "break" day. I'm STILL having a hard time finding many foods that are high in calories and protein, but low in fat. I'm sure it's out there somewhere.

Today I'm going hiking at Makapuu point. I finally got a scale! So that should help keep track. I don't have to go and use one in wal mart anymore! It's about 1:00pm and I'm pretty tired. I'm not looking forward to working tonight. Meals have been going well. Hopefully I don't run out of food quickly. I feel like I have to go to the grocery store every other day to have enough food. Maybe by this time next week, I'll know if I need to add or decrease calories.

It's about 5pm, and I feel really tired. I'm guessing it's because I didn't eat "lunch" until about 4pm. I went in to the office for an hour with flo, then went and walked around punchbowl crater for about 1.5 hours. I also walked from the bus stop to Safeway, then walked around with the heavy basket. I have a feeling I'm burning more calories than I'm recording, so I need to be careful about how much I push myself and how many calories I eat a day.

This part is written about 11:00pm on 1/3.....I added more calories today. Hopefully that'll make a difference in my energy level. It's late, so I'm not going to say much. It was a good full day and hopefully I can sleep well tonight. Stay on track, buddy!
This part is for 1/4...Work was insane today. Decided I don't have time, or the money, to have a veggie burger with breakfast. Had enough energy to work late AND work out after work, which was the first time in a while. Now I've got to take a shower and go to my second job. Yay! Need to find ways to cut back on carbs and increase the protein. Can't seem to find any good cheap, lean, protein sources here in Hawaii.

This was my first ever day of pre-meditated meals. And wow, what a difference! I didn't ever take time to measure out portions, calories, fats, etc, etc. And much to my surprise, I've been coming up SHORT on calories. No wonder I'm so tired all the time!
Today, I did a difficult hike for about an hour and a half, then moderate walking for about 40 minutes, ate healthy, yada yada...it was a good day. Didn't feel challenging at all. If I stay on this track, then I should be headed towards a brighter future in no time.
