Tough day for me. My son was deployed to Iraq and left early this morning. I have been eating so many things that I should not be. I took a couple of days off of work to do things that will reduce the stress and help me deal with my fears and sadness. I went to the health club and met with the dietician to look at my food and how it is affecting my diabetes. This was a good move. Dietician gave me lots of good info. Goals are to keep healthy so Rob does not have to deal with my health issues while he is over there and I want to be thinner and have more energy when he comes home.

I have to follow atkins or parts of south beach due to the food allergies that I have. can't eat/drink many things but one thing I am sure of--my appetite is much more under control when I am not into sugar or carbs. I have also been under much stress with my family so that has not helped. In the past I lost 150 lbs using a mix of atkins and south beach. It is the only thing I find that will work
