-haven't been making food diary entries but have been tracking food in a separate book. -know I'm not getting enough vegies or cals, not exercising daily. -am sticking with lo-carb high-fat, no sugar; plenty of water. Large unexpected tax bill came so have been forced to squeeze from food budget to pay all monthly bills. -am sticking with diet as much as is possible.

-not surprised, fairly sure it's water weight since last couple of days haven't been drinking enough. -have missed vegie carbs, and haven't exercised for a few days; turned to almond & coconut flours to boost carb count. SO, weight gain not surprising. Weather is turning so will soon be able to start bicycling, which will help a lot.

Last coupla days have been kinda wonky. Not so far off carb count or percentages, just off on carb quality; and not drinking enough water. Like today, ate breakfast but then missed lunch and ended up really hungry when got home from evening class. Not enough fresh meat in fridge so ended up making almond-coco pancakes with side of ham and LOTS of butter. So, numbers look about right but carbs not from vegies. And skipped weighing this a.m. So will do it tomorrow a.m. Should be able to get back on track with meal planning, etc.

Just measured distance of my hike of 4-5 hours Friday. It was 11.40 kms. (2.2 kms = 1 mile). SO.. just over 5 miles. Yahoo! While my weight was stable this morning (Saturday) that's o.k. 'cause my body is surely changing. Last night's sauna I noticed the bath towel that didn't meet at the bottom edge is now overlapping. So, yep, my body's busily adjusting.
