Holding steady at 158 lbs. I am working out at least 4 days per week and doing an hour of cardio. Bye-bye fat!! Hello I am too sexy for my pants (or shorts!).

Woo hoo!! Down 2 lbs. I have been going to the gym at lunch during the week and once on weekend to kick it up a notch! I am eating a ton of veggies and fruits. Feeling great!!

I am working a long shift today...mental health does not take the weekend off. But I came prepared, I brought celery, carrots, chicken with apples and walnuts and lotsa water! My hubby is sooo good to me. I am getting wicked chocolate cravings though...any suggestions to counter? I usually get Dove dark chocolate and that will often cure it but lately it has been more intense. Is it maybe due to the healthier eating habits? Reduction of sugar? Anyway, I don't like it and it makes me pause at the vending maching and eyeball those M & M's or whatever! I have never been particular in my chocolate intake. I wish I could say the same about my veggie intake.
I will not be able to get to the gym today but will do so tomorrow and plan to kick it up a notch. Yoga Tuesday and Thursday also...

I will go to the gym today at lunch...I will go to the gym today at lunch...and actually I am looking forward to it. I went through my clothes which I have about two closet's full that I can no longer but will fit into again...Size 6 is sooo doable. They are patiently awaiting my arrival in the basement closet! I have lost one pound and am looking forward to spending my birthday at least 5 lbs lighter.
My hubby, who is the cook in the family, is on board 100% and made a salmon and veggie dish to die for last night. I am excited to experiment with new recipes ( or have Mark do so ) and look forward to finding some on this site.

I went to lunch with colleagues today and realized what a terrible influence they all are. There was mayo, ketchup and fries as far as the eye could see. Nightshades are not good for me and I looove ketchup and potatoes.
I was sitting there thinking...I am seriously the only one eating healthy? Then something amazing happened...I realized I am seriously the only one eating healthy! They all commented on my healthy habits and how they needed to be more mindful of what they put in their mouth each day. I wear a pedometer to document how many steps I take and they commented on what a great and easy way to increase one's activity. I then realized that it is not the negative influence they may have on me but the positive one I have on them. All it takes is action.
