Day 1 of "30 Day Shred". Holy Crap! I skimmed through it before I started, so I'd know sort of what was coming my way. Thought "well this doesn't look too hard! I can do this!" I WAS WRONG! I pushed through and finished it, with only a break to turn on the ceiling fan. My legs feel like rubber, and yep, I still hate squats. But feels way more effective than any of my time at the gym. Looking forward to Feb 26, to see the results of all my hard work. :) In other news, my DS's bday is in 2 weeks, he'll be 4, and he wants an Angry Birds party. He wants me to make him Angry Birds cake pops. This should be interesting, I've never tried to make cake pops, or make my cakes look like anything but cakes. At least he'll love them no matter how they look!

Not recording a daily weight anymore, but still checking with my scale. This am I was up to 151, after hitting 149.8 yesterday. Not sure what's up with that, guess it's just water weight. Anyway, hit the gym yesterday after work for some cardio. Also ate my cocoa almonds yesterday, as a pre-workout snack. Wonder if that's why the scale went up? I know I didn't gain 1.2lbs of fat overnight. Had a slip-up last night though. I guess not really, I made the conscious decision to do it, so it wasn't a slip. I guess it was a detour. I cleaned out the candy stash at our house, since we've got candy in there from Easter. Found a mini Reese's cup from xmas (my fave!) and decided 1 couldn't hurt. It's not like I'm never going to eat one again. But it didn't even taste good! It wasn't past it's prime, I just didn't like the taste. I was stunned. I had to rinse my mouth out after eating it. Guess I won't be doing that again. On the candy note, anyone know where I can find sugar-free twizzlers? I love those, but my grocery only had sugar-free chocolates/hard candies.

Having entered my 3rd week of Induction, I can add nuts if I want. I picked up some Cocoa Roasted Emerald Almonds (the 100 cal pack) after hearing about them on one of the Atkins boards here. I haven't tried them yet. Not going to eat them just because I have them, only if I'm actually hungry. Hoping they're good. BUT just found out after entering them in the tracker, that there is a CINNAMON ROASTED option! :) I ♥ Cinnamon Roasted almonds. My store didn't have them when I got the cocoa. Maybe they were out. Since I'm keeping myself in induction, I'm going to stick to the 20net grams of carbs, or as close as possible. I'm not going up to 25 yet. I'm going to wait till I get to OWL in 5lbs. Doing this by the book, to maximize my results. Will tweak it when I get further along & get back into the gym regularly. Might go after work today. Brought my clothes in case I can make it in time. Tried some yoga last night, thought it would be something easy I could do before bed, I was wrong! I YouTube'd yoga for beginners, and it was going too fast. I couldn't keep up, didn't know the poses, and couldn't do some. Out of the 20min vid, I accomplished about 10mins. :/ It's a start at least.

Picked up some Russel Stover sugar free chocolates last night, waited till today to give them a taste. They are yummy! I got the "peppermint patty" ones, and I don't miss the sugar. Also, surprised (happily!) that a serving size is 3 pieces. Can spread that out through the day. Hoping I can drop these last 5lbs in about a week, so I can move on to OWL for another 10, then to Pre-Maint for the last 10.
