Trying Atkins AGAIN!!!

About 10 years ago I went on Atkins and lost 13kg in 3 months- all was going great until funeral after funeral I attended and slipped off the wagon one cupcake at a time.

Well I have finally managed to find the motivation again to go back on.
I recently got married- was not at the weight I really wanted to be at.. but so be it- I would again like to get back in shape.

I am 29 years old and 5.7 tall
and currently am around 84kg- the heaviest I have ever been.
I have never seen myself in a 38 trouser and have had to go shopping for them just to wear some pants :(

The thing for me living in South Africa is that there are NO Atkins bars, shakes etc, so a little more will power is required.
But I shall have to go stock up on the sugar free Jello.

I don't want my life to revolve around food- I don't want to be thinking what I'm going to eat throughout the day- it's not right!

Atkins help needed!!!
Hi Queeshia

I don't really think Atkins is a budget friendly eating plan as you are always topping up with your salads and veg.
Try get some bulk eggs and cheese
and minced beef always great to have around.

i'm trying to keep mine fairly low (around 1300) and sticking to the philosophy of burning more than you consume Smile still eating 5 times day- dont think i could stomach any more than that right now

Motivational clothing ??
well the one pair of pants I would have loved to seen myself in again (they were fab) I gave away to friend- thinking i would NEVER be able to get into them again Sad so now I just have to find a fab new pair when i get to my goal Smile love shopping for new SMALLER clothes
