I walked 3 miles today! I have barely been able to make it a mile, but I woke up and told myself I would walk 2 miles today. Once I hit the two mile mark, I forced myself to do one more. I went on my favorite trail that I haven't visited in a while and was surprised at how crowded it's become and that several buildings are popping up in what used to be beautiful green space.
The hubby will be gone most of next week, so maybe I can get on track with eating.

Ooooooooooooooooooh! Bad me! I went and got friend chicken for lunch at Frenchy's (really tasty local chain). My tummy is not happy with me either. I ordered the King's special which is a thigh, leg, three wings, small fries, and soda (diet coke for me). Normally I would scarf down the whole thing, but after the fries, thigh and one wing, that was it.
I wish I could break that impulsiveness when it comes to food. Sometimes I crave something and just get up and go get it.
Last night I did make a healthy dinner. I made noodles out of spiralized zucchini and sauteed them with onions and red peppers. I baked meatballs to go with it for a low carb spaghetti and meatball dish. My hubby and son loved it which was great. Hopefully we can break our dining out addiction.
The weather outside is really nice so I will try and get out for a walk today. I need to keep moving my body. Especially after the fried chicken incident. :-)

Well, I didn't eat as healthy as I would have liked yesterday, but I wasn't as bad as normal. The hubby and I went to Sam's yesterday and spent too much money on snacks and still haven't done the real grocery shopping. I should probably go this morning while he is still sleeping, but it feels like such a lazy day. I did put on some music and dance around the house yesterday. I know I need to start moving again.

Is today the day? I woke up feeling hopeful today instead of deprssed. I'm planning to grocery shop today so I can have healthy food choices available. My biggest downfall is dining out. I pretty much dine out every single day. I also think about food from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep.
