I was surprised to find out that I lost weight because of two 'cheat' meals. Today went reasonably well, I got everything done that I needed to get gone for the day which always helps in feeling good about myself.

I'm just going to keep it real here. I allow myself to give in to cravings without a second thought. Like today I had my day planned out and just because I was starving after work without really thinking about it I went and go to Arbys on my way home. It doesn't make sense to do that when you already have your day planned out and I blew it. It's very discouraging to say the least.
My plan to fix this in the future is to stop at work and eat a snack before and after my lunch break to stop the excessive hunger when I go to leave. Problem is, I don't always have the time to stop and do anything with people constantly needing my assistance.
What I need to do is go to the gym immediately following (my work is right next to a YMCA) to make sure I get a good workout in. But it is VERY hard to have a committed workout schedule with a busy life outside of work. I find it difficult to find that extra time to put aside for myself I always end up saying 'screw it' and that's the end of that.
I've began reading the "Eat-Clean" book. I'm debating whether that would be something worth taking on. Seems to me it would be difficult to lose weight eating that much food every single day, but the lack of complex carbs makes a lot of sense. Tonight I'm making a shopping list for when I go to the grocery on Friday, maybe I'll make it a "Eat-Clean" shopping list.

Hello everyone!
This is my second time using this website. I liked how the site was set up and how easy it was to use. I hope to reach my goal before Christmas of this year. But for right now all I'm focusing on is losing 2-3 pounds a week and an overall weight loss of 8-10 pounds a month. I am not following any fad diet just focusing on eating lots of protein and natural foods and less complex carbs.
