Ok so not diet related but I just need to rant for a minute. This ridiculous public school system here implemented a bill that allows people to send their children to school with head lice. So, all year last year we dealt with it like sometimes 5 days a week. So this year we started doing the tea tree oil in the kids shampoo and i made them a little spray bottle to spray in their hair before school as a second line of defense. Great. Works wonderfully. They go away for five days for holiday break to their mamaws and come back EAT UP WITH HEAD LICE. So naturally we get the medicine and treat it. Doesn't work. The bugs are literally still running through their heads. So after four hours and some help from my sister we go through their hair. I've oiled them up and wrapped their hair for tonight but I am going to have to go through it again tomorrow.

Complaining to the school doesn't work because they argue and I quote, "Its a lifestyle choice. "

Ok, its my lifestyle choice not to be infested with bugs every single day my kids are supposed to be learning. My options are to pay to remove it every single day or to pull them out of school and homeschool.

So irritating. I spent about 6,000 last year on medicine and spray and treating it. Which to be fair this is the first time I have had to deal with this so that is a blessing but good Lord. I don't know about anyone else but shelling out that kind of money because the state I live in clearly has an issue with clinical insanity its ridiculous.

End. Rant. UGHHH

losing 3.6 lb a week

So, I'm eating nowhere near enough. Guess I am going to have to keep a check on it. My entire life is insanity at this moment in time so I will just kinda have to go with it. I've overestimated what i ate today because I couldn't find an exact match. Shew.

A little peak into my life: I get up at 3:30am every morning to take my mother to work. After which I start cleaning up the disaster zone that was somehow created by grown adults who cannot fathom how to use a garbage can. Get the kids up for school (with the except of this week, thank goodness. I don't really think the like the time off as much as I do!!) Anyway, my oldest gets up at 5am to primp for school and my youngest gets up at 6am. Monday through Friday like little tiny breathing clocks. Around 7am my fiance gets off work and arrives home so I make him breakfast and subsequently clean up again. My step dad is off to work at 8am after which it is time to start laundry for 6 people, which I can assure you all is like a never ending demon spawn that cannot be controlled. Around 11-11:30am I take a break from laundry to shower to avoid smelling like a rotten zombie which usually ends around 12ish if I linger. (Trust me, I linger.) Leave to pick up my mother around 12:30pm from work. Now, from 1-2pm is free time. Yep, a whole hour. I use this time to refuel with one sometimes two cups of black coffee. Sometimes I laugh and cry like an escaped mental patient... sometimes I must use this time to think about when I can pencil in finding one of those time travel things from the Harry Potter movies my children make me watch. In between 3-3:30pm my children arrive home from school so its time to do homework and listen to the very dramatic days my young girls apparently have out saving the world instead of being in school like I assumed they were. 4:00pm its time to make dinner. I wake my fiance up at 5:00pm so he can go off to school as he has decided to take a second associates degree. at 6:00pm he leaves for school until 11:00pm when he goes straight to work after. Ok, now. In between 7-9pm I must explain to my children that they simple must bathe... with water AND soap. Every night except Saturday night. 9;00pm= BEDTIME. So, after the kids are sent to bed its time to finish cleaning the house from after dinner, check school work, tend to anything I may not have gotten to earlier in the day, pay bills, ect. This usually lasts until at least midnight, however the last couple days it has been 1-2:00am due to Christmas cleanup and rearranging. There are nights when I don't get 2 hours of sleep.

So, what have I done? Decided that it may be time to look for a job to help out with some of the bills because truth be told we are stretched VERY thin. I'm not sure how I am going to manage this feat. But I will make it work.

Now, this may come off as a little bit of a rant, but honestly, I am so incredibly grateful that I am physically and mentally able to do all these things. I want my children to understand that sometimes we just have to do what needs to be done. I want them to grow up knowing that they are so incredibly loved that we do anything we need to do to make things work. And when they grow up they will hopefully see that.

So where did I start with this? Oh yes. Tomorrows plan:eat a bit more, maybe go for a walk, and be grateful for the chance to do it all over again.

And on that note everyone, I hope you have an amazing night. :)
