I started out weighing 250 lbs about 10 years ago. I lost 50 and gained it all back. March of 2016 I was down to 217 and decided I had to do something and started on the LCHF WOE. I am down to 171 now.

I'm an empty nester. My son lives about 3.5 hours away. I work 5 days a week and don't get much exercise. I sit at a desk all day. I have a treadmill that I look at, but can't seem to make myself get on and use. I know the weight would come off faster if I would.

I found this place from hearing about it on a video from Youtube and thought I would check it out. I love talking to like minded people, so here goes nothing that I hope turns into something.

High Fat Low Carb Way of Eating
First I want to say I wish everyone a very Happy New Year! I've been eating this way since March 10 of 2016. Before I started I studied it on the internet. I read all I could about it and got on Youtube to see testimonial of people who have done this WOL. I didn't just jump in not knowing what I was doing. I prepped m. y kitchen by getting everything out that I didn't need. I have to admit stopping the sugar was very hard. Starchy veggies and bread was a huge task to over come. Once they were out of my life I can truthfully say I am good. Now this took time. I was on a mission. I wanted this so bad. I don't eat out much, but when I do I manage very well. I prep my own food. I keep a lot of things I can grab if I get hungry or crave something. I can have sweet things, but I don't use real sugar. I use real cream in my coffee. I am not hungry in between my meals very often. I listen to my body to know when I am truly hungry. 54 lbs loss so far.
