WHEN THE FEET HIT THE PAVEMENT...



My first days walk was horrible! lol.. My feet, knees, and hips ached! I def. need new shoes! It was a lil chilly out so I started out with my sweatshirt on....



Once I got going, my socks kept slipping off my heel. Then my knee started acting up (yes..at 26 yrs old, I have bad knees!) Then later on a pebble in my shoe came out of nowhere and started stabbing me in the foot! lol...oh what a walk!

After I started warming up I shedded the sweatshirt..can you tell what a happy camper I am???



Haha! LOL... Anyways..what a day! I will continue to keep everyone updated on my walking endeavors and adventures :) It will start getting really good when it starts snowing! LOL! I don't have a treadmill so I gotta do it the old fashioned way! :)



ABOVE: the stupid hill...grr! Yet the hills will not conquer me..oh no. I will just consider them small mountains to overcome on my quest for a healthier me!

As for my water intake
..

Last night at work I was overly dehydrated because of my lack of beverage! Stomach cramps and all. So I certainly learned my lesson. Just not used to drinking water when I'm thirsty so I didn't drink at all!! GOSH! So..today I will be drinking all my water like I should!!

So those are generally what's been going on with my diet. I hope everyone is having better progress than me! :) I'll just keep plugging away :) It will all be worth it soon...

I'm a little nervous! Tomarrow I begin my 2 challenges..and I'm praying I can stick with it! I know I can..I just have to keep telling myself I can do it. Tomarrow I cut out all drinks for 2 weeks except water. I think that task won't be too difficult, but I'm going to be in a crappy mood when it comes to coffee withdrawels!!

And as far as the walking challenge..thats the one I'm going to really have to push myself to do. Exercising has never been a fun thing to me. I love walking..but 1/2 hour is the most I ever do. My shoes kinda suck, but I'm broke and can't afford new walking shoes. So we'll see how long they last before they are falling apart!!!

Anyone who wants to be my buddy and help encourage me...it'd be great..I need it! Does anyone on here to the "eating for your blood type" diets? I'm curious about those. I've heard alot of success from people who've followed it. Anyhow...I just wanted to keep myself accountable, get in the habit of writing everyday. So I'm off to do some housework.
