Hello FatSecret community. Today is Friday July 1st 2016, I successfully weigh in at 184.4 pounds. I thought I was going to be 180 pounds for the 4th of July, But even if I fasted from today until Monday, I think that would be cutting it close, and I am already hungry like a bear this morning. But I did join the I.F. BEAST MODE 2.0, which gives me a new mini goal to shoot for. It's been about 1 week that I have been doing Low Carb. I posted some pictures of some of the things I've eaten this week. Manchego cheese is one of them. It is $15.00 a pound, and have never tried it before until recently. I must say it is very strong to the smell and taste. Melting the cheese tames it a little bit. And after chewing on the cheese for about 5 seconds once melted, you get flavors on the palate that are pleasing. The cheese is 120 calories per ounce. I used a cheese grater to shred it and saved it on a ziploc bag for when I want to use it. I also bought Gouda cheese slices, and I must say I will be buying that again. Bacon and eggs are always good / 1060 calories total for the meal. The new bag of coffee I bought in the bag is good too. The tortilla in one of my pictures with breakfast sausage links and cheese comes out to 210 calories and 33 carbs, the sausage links come out to 560 calories, and the two slices of Gouda cheese come out to 220 calories, 110 calories per slice. Total calories for the meal = 990. The turkey bacon is 770 calories, plus two slices of swiss cheese at 80 calories per slice, total calories = 930. Hello FatSecret community. Today I currently weighed in at 185.8. My last weigh in was on June 10th, I weighed in at 188.6. Since January 18th of this year I've lost over 50 pounds in a 5 month period. I really didn't have an agenda for this journal, except for that I said I'd weigh in again today since the previous journal. This month I was shooting for weighing in every 10 days until the end of the month. I had a good weekend in the form of dieting. Thursday night at midnight, I started fasting until 11:00 pm Friday night. A 23 hours fast. I broke my fast by eating 500 plus calories of breakfast sausage links and a few slices of swiss cheese. On Saturday I only had 30 grams of carbs in the form of 3 small hard candies and a Coors non alcoholic beer. The beer only has 66 calories, because there is no alcohol in it. I also ate a can of Salmon which contains no carbs, just lots of protein. Sunday by 11:30 in the morning I was hungry for corned beef. I had been hesitant to buy corned beef days prior, because it runs between 5 to $ 6.00 for a 12 ounce can. I simply thought that the price was to high until I decided to buy a can for Sunday. Well I learned that a can of corned beef is worth it in that it packs a 700 calorie punch in the form of protein and fat. And by the time I was 3/4 ways done eating my corned beef I was getting full. And I said to my self, wow this is going to keep me full for the rest of the day. And so it did. A few hours after eating , I went with my wife to the theatre, to watch Central Intelligence. It was a good movie, it had action and was funny. And that was my weekend. Today I was happy with my weigh in and decided to eat out. So I had enchiladas with chips and salsa about 12:30 pm, my food kept me full for about 6 hours. I was outside today and it was a hot day. I should of took ice water with me while being outside working today. So when I got home I was craving a cold non alcoholic beer. I can't drink alcoholic beverages, because it aggravates my gout. So I had a non alcoholic beer and went into town again bought more, because I was thirsty today. I wanted carbonation without a sweet taste. I already have diet sodas, zero calorie green tea, and no calorie koolaid. The zero calorie tea I have really helps with thirst when you drink it in a big glass with ice. Today is the 1st day of summer and it's going to be hot here at least until september. I also bought a closeable 2.2 liter bottle for water. It is already in the fridge with water in it, for when I want to drink strait up cold water. I got some new coffee as well, I will try it out tomorrow. Well I posted pictures of my food and drink from the weekend plus my restaurant meal today and one photo of the game room in the theatre. I used imgur.com for the 1st time today vs photobucket. Imgur is so much faster and neater. I will probably just weigh in again for the 4th of July, unless I can hit the 180 pound mark sooner. Hello Fatsecret community. Today I weighed in at 188.6. On May 18th I weighed in at 191.2. After that successful weigh in I carbed up starched up on that day in the form of noodles, rice, and ice cream, & gained about 5 pounds of water weight. Today is the second day in a row I have been able to eat starches and carbs, & still be able to maintain 188 pounds. I'd like to be 180 pounds by the forth of July. To reach 180 pounds I might just low carb it for the rest of the month. Well this is my new account as of June 1st. If you remember me from my previous account and you were my buddy don't hesitate to add me again. If you're a new FatSecret member & need a buddy, add me. If you've been on FatSecret for a while and want to help a guy out add me as a buddy. Buddies buddies buddies. It's not mandatory but it would be great. Hello FatSecret community. Today I created a new FatSecret account due to having email problems yesterday. On Memorial day I had a barbeque with family. My brother sent me a message through facebook with his phone saying I could get a free pizza from Pizza Hut. So I filled out my information including my email address, and never got a coupon for a free pizza. So the next day I get back from my dentist appointment only to find my email loaded with new spam that did not used to come in on a daily basis. I knew something didn't add up when I filled out a form thinking I was going to get a free pizza. When I was asked several questions survey style, I knew something wasn't right. So I started unsubscribing from the spam I was getting yesterday, but it kept coming in. Several hours after unsubscribing to over 100 unwanted emails, it kept coming in. I decided that the spam may never end after clicking the unsubscribe button. So I finally decided to to make a new email account and close the one that was established for years. I was logging into FatSecret with Facebook but was not able to change my email account to receive notifications for the new email account. Here on FatSecret you cannot click a button to close an account, but you must email registration to close it for you. So far my old account is still open, I had 3 pages worth of friends and will try to add you guys back with the new account. This morning I weighed in at 191.8, about that same thing as when I weighed in on May 19th. On May 19th I was 191 pounds, I ate lots of rice pasta and ice cream and gained up to 6 pounds of water weight. It taken until today to get back into the 191 pound range again. Calendar wise I am on schedule for the weight I lose on a monthly basis. My original goal weight was 175 pounds, but now I have moved it down to 160. I look at my body every day and have come to the conclusion that I need to drop about another 30 pounds. So today is the 1st of June a new start weight and goal weight for me. Happy week everyone.
