Ok so I went over today because it was my mom's day off and she was cooking her regular meals which are delicious and filling. But we also, uncharacteristically went to McDonald's. It was the best McDonald's I had eaten in a verrry long time. :) I think it tasted so good because my body hasn't had real fast junk food in a few days, so it actually was a great treat. I didn't feel sick afterwards or anything and the salt on the fries was like heaven! But I'm pretty sure it's because I have m=been treating my body right lately. Living healthy is amazing. I also learned that there is a HUGE difference between the sweet and unsweet tea at McDonald's today. Wow. Huge.

On a slightly different note, I also realized how unhealthy cheese is :( It made me feel really gross when I noticed how many calories it has in it and how much fat. I am going to start taking out of the many dishes I add cheese to, like when I put cheese on a salad or eggs. Today I resisted putting it my grits, like usual, and I'm sure glad that I did :)

Oh boy I just recorded a normal breakfast that my mom always makes on her day off. I never would have guessed how fattening it was! But hey, it's the weekend and my only goal is to not go over my calorie limit. I'm already halfway there, but it's not like I'm going to be hungry for a while. :)
I also noticed I didn't really have a lot of calories yesterday, but at the time that I notice this, I also wasn't very hungry. So I decided to eat some fruit to increase my calories, which I still think might have been low. It is kind of perplexing me on why I felt so good with such a decrease in calories from what I would've had last week. I just don't know what it was about.

I had coffee without any sugar today! It made me feel really great, having a sugar-fee morning. :)
And I stretched today and was less out of breath than I was yesterday. :)
I was tempted to do a Hip-Hop Abs session, but I don't think I was ready yet today, maybe on Monday when my brother is at the dentist and I have the house to myself ;)

So I weighed myself today and I am officially under 150 pounds! :D I have become frustrated with my scale, though, because it is not a digital scale, and is somewhat hard to read if I want to start being specific about my weight, like recording it to the tenths place. As a New Year's present to myself, I've decided to start to save up my money to purchase a digital scale. I do have one in mind already, but if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to comment. :)
I'm also on a fast that started last night around 6pm. I originally planned to stop at noon, but I'm feeling really good, so as of right now, I plan on stopping at 2pm. I did have a coffee today though, which is perfectly fine by me.

I NEED to learn to control myself when I'm out with my friends. This sleepover was a DISASTER!!! Just because my friend is overweight DOES NOT MEAN I HAVE TO BE! I'm gonna start planning ahead, like getting veggie based meals instead of greasy or fried meat. KINDA DISAPPOINTED and also SURPRISED-BUT-NOT-REALLY.
