So I got on the scale this morning. Yeah I know it has only been 5 days but since I cut my soda, alcohol and have been counting calories as well as working out 30 minutes a day I thought I would have dropped a few pounds by now. Nada. I am still holding steady...that is disappointing.

Did two 30 minute cardio workouts today. I feel triumphant.
My membership at the gym only allows one guest at a time so I took my son this morning and then went back a few hours later and took my daughter. Woohoo! My husband thinks I am nuts for going twice.

Okay so not a bad start. Tried eggbeaters and that was yucky...could not even eat one. So I am opting to boil two eggs for lunch. I do love a nice warm egg. Crystal Light is my new best friend.
Went to the gym and did 30 something minutes of cardio. Gonna go again later today and do another 15 minutes I hope.

Yesterday was a birthday function at my favorite restaurant. I normally have an entire sampler. Which is like 2,000 calories. Fortunately I ate my lunch late and had tons of water so I was not too hungry. I only ate a small portion and only what could fit on my appetizer plate without seconds! Yippee! Day one down.
