This semester and next I am in school to become a personal trainer (next semester I start on my degree as a Registered Dietician as well). Talk about motivation to get in shape! In my class about Group Fitness our final is to design and teach a 20 minute class of our choosing to our classmates and finals began last week.

The first week there were only two students scheduled for their final, but this week and pretty much the rest of the weeks it will be three. This week kicked my butt with over an hour of intense exercise with very short breaks.

I have to say that I am actually enjoying the pain (as much as I might be moaning and groaning) because the pain is making me feel alive. I feel like I am moving toward my goal in a way I haven't in a long time. So yes, the pain feels good, but I'm also making sure to give myself the proper amount of rest time as well :)
