Still doing pretty well, I'm at the one month mark today and weighed in today for a total of 20 lbs lost in the first month. Yes I already know I'm not going to lose 20 lbs a month, I'm hoping for 10, and expecting 8. let's see where we are next month

As I figured, the original spurt of loss at the beginning would die out and it has. No loss between last week and this even though I stayed pretty much on plan. Not discouraged, just disappointing. I may drop my caloric intake and see if what that does next week.

Doing very well in regards to not being hungry. I know that process foods in particular starch and sugar driven food is what drives cravings, without that in my diet I am having very few. I think also eliminating coffee and caffeine and drinking decaffeinated tea is also having a appetite suppressing affect. I ordered a whole box of decaf tea directly from Twinings website and am already considering ordering more. The teas are no worse then their caffeinated counterparts, especially the Irish Breakfast and the Chai. Here's a 20% off coupon code PS20 for my peps. Do people still use the phrase peps or am I dating myself?

Still doing very well because I am at the beginning. The big challenge will be to keep it up during the holidays. It has already started. I well meaning friend sent me a huge 5 lb box of cookies and goodies from Harry and David. I picked it up at the Post Office today, thanked her profusely then took it straight to break room at work were it disappeared in an hour except for one cookie, what is it about girls that they won't take the last of anything. Anyway, I would have normally convinced myself that I couldn't insult the gift and taken myself off my diet in order to consume it, which is how I got where I am. So fifty more feats of strength like that and I will be getting somewhere.

As normal, the first couple of weigh ins have been good, another three lbs down, eight total for my first week. I know this will slow down soon enough but I am happy for it now.
