Well, although it isn't what I had expected I did lose 9 pounds in the 17 days of this diet. Now on to the day of liquid shakes and tomorrow I will start Cycle 2 or Phase 2, whatever it's called. We shall see how this goes,but I know that something has happened to my system that is not allowing me to lose weight. I have been looking into my thyroid and what there is that might be preventing me from losing. After all, I have been taking in between only 780 - 1000 calories a day for the most part, and in most normal situations that would be enough to make anyone lose weight. I am going to start with foods and teas that might restart my metabolism through the thyroid. I was supposed to do 15 minutes of exercise each day and I haven't been able to get my walking exercise in due to the terrible weather in our area and my arthritis doesn't cooperate with bad weather - Can't wait for spring.
