I am a 48-year-old mother of 3, grandmother of 5. I work in the medical field in organ/tissue recovery/transplant specialty. Originally from Alabama, I joined the USAF out of high school and became an Air Force Medic. After the military, I lived in upstate NY for 11 years, but have thankfully been back in the south for over 16 years now...living in North Carolina for 15 years. I am an avid reader and love to write.

I FINALLY quit smoking Jan 3, 2014! And now, a year and a half later I find myself here... Needing to lose the 40 pounds I packed on after quitting, and wanting to lose and additional 10 to put me back where I am most comfortable.
