Still feeling lousy this morning and now feel nauseated and not interested in eating. But no fever, although I keep getting chills so I turned the heater up. Stuffiness, although I can breathe through the nose! All the congestion is higher up the nose and between my eyes. Still have a headache and am so tired. Cough once in awhile and then it's hard to stop. Might be the flu although I had the flu shot in September and also the Covid vaccine. Cancelled today's PT and the realtor who is #3 to give me an idea of the listing price, called me and we will reschedule tomorrow's appointment. Think about rescheduling the orthopedist (2nd opinion) appointment on Friday but it will be another 2 weeks or so before I can get another appointment.
Trying to drink water to stay hydrated but it's not easy. Doubt I'll eat much if any thing today. I haven't been sick since before Covid!

It's almost 6pm and my eating has been fine today. Just 1 slice of rye toast and that was around 3pm. I'm done with eating for the day and am living on cough drops. Feeling lousy. Throat has felt funny for a couple of days and I keep getting a dry cough. Thought it was allergies and Zrtec helped with stuffiness until today. So cough, scratchy throat, stuffy nose and now chills! No fever so far.
Would love it if I had an excuse not to go to PT tomorrow. Planning the same food tomorrow as today, maybe I'll substitute something for tomato soup.

Ate too much yesterday but actually went ahead and logged what I remembered. It was the schwarzwalder dark rye bread. 4 slices of toast during the day. I will try for just one slice with coffee this morning. I need to get to a point where I can keep some foods in the house without eating so much. I can do 1/4 bagel, 1/2 English muffin and 1 slice of toast with most breads. But not this rye bread. Hope I can accomplish this today because I don't want to throw a $5 (on sale) loaf of bread away!

I made it through yesterday eating as planned! First time I've been able to do that in over a month. The shorter day helped. I bought a new food scale that weighs in grams as well as ounces. The scale is small and uses batteries. I'm used to my old scale with a removable top that I can put in the dishwasher. I really want it clean after weighing raw chicken or meat. I am not used to grams but so many foods in the database use that as the measurement.

My weight is actually higher but I don't want to see it in writing! I really haven't been eating right. I remember saying I'm either gaining weight or losing it, never maintaining. I'm in the gaining mode now. Trying to start over again. Bought 2 bags of the salad mix I like so plan on making salad with chopped up chicken breast for the next few days. Had it yesterday. I'm also planning on using up the 10 cans of tomato soup in the pantry so won't keep carbs below 100 grams for a week or 2. Will post my weight on Sundays, adding a pound until I reach my actual weight. Hoping I'll be losing though.
Had a realtor come look at my house the other day. But she didn't tell me what price she thinks I should list it at, which is all I really want. I can find all the comparable sales myself online, I actually see homes on Realtor.com that I found more comparable. I plan on going with another realtor, but she also doesn't give me a listing price. Probably because she knows what I'm hoping to sell it for and doesn't want to hurt my feelings. But when I list it, I want it to sell right away so I know it needs to be priced right. I was able to reach the guy who painted kitchen csbinets 2 years ago and he agreed to touch them up (lots of nicks and chips that are my fault). He will also stain my front porch and paint in 4 spots in the house where I had drywall patched. With him doing all that there isn't much more that needs to be done before selling.
Went outside this morning and threw a ball for Bobby to bring back to me about 5 or 6 times since I'm not supposed to walk him with my bad knee per the physical therapist. I see an orthopedist on Friday so I will ask him about that.
