Fast Day Monday and I have renewed energy and new size 34 shorts from the clearance rack at Macy's. I love this country! They're a little snug and were likely made in Singapore but I digress. That's 52 lbs gone and I can see 210 from here. C'mon on Ches. Jump into the sub 220 pool, the water's fine! Oh, and Partner, the best part is, we're displacing less of it than before. Get on your horse and ride My People!

Milemarkers are flying past. Just under my 18 year low at 222. At 221, I'll be 50 down and the 220's are almost behind me. Next, a downhill march to 210 and some serious re-eval. Let's go Ches! Opportunity knocks. You see, I've got a powerful hankering for some pizza so if I were you, I'd make hay while the sun shines.

Oh it could have been better. During a 24 hour period from Friday to Saturday, I did partake of pizza, ice cream, and Chinese food; a dalliance with the unholy trinity that cost me my mojo. I'm sure Ches went all "carpe" on his "diem" while I ate shrimp pad thai like it was my last meal. Oh well, it's a new week and we've got fences down all over. Giddyup.

That's 45 gone. I was doing so well then came National Ice Cream Day. I'm a patriot so I did my part. I've decided to start including decimals on my weigh-in since this might become a "game of ounces" at some point with the way Ches is ratcheting up his game. Coming up on an 18 year low at 222. As I consider my initial goal of 210, I think that arbitrary number was dumb. At 5'10", the CDC says I'm obese at 210 lbs. I have to get to 208 to be just "overweight". Anyway, first world problems, right? Yesterday, one of my boys said "Dad, that shirt's too big for you." Now if he'd just use a coaster, he'd be the perfect son.

Not shocked anymore. 42 gone. No struggle. No worries. No cravings. No limits. Walking more because all the stuff that hurts, hurts less. In 1998, I was 222. My girlfriend hasn't seen me there. My high school senior son hasn't seen me there. Future plans include weights, new goal weight, and maybe a before and after pic (inspired by Sean's success, but there aren't many pics of the fatter cowboy so that might be a challenge). Look at the time. Let's go My People!
