Anyone on the Zoe Harcombe diet?
Thanks for your feedback sallylun. So does the book you got on kindle have recipes? I find it hard to use kindle to flick back and forth thru pages when i am cooking, will get a hardcopy if i decide to try this. I find if i go low carb, my fat intake leaps up. Trying to keep that in check because i have read that high fat in the blood promotes more insulin resistance, by blocking insulin docking sites at the muscles. Thats why vegans say their diets work because its so low in fat. But for me this diet change doesnt seem sustainable for the next 20 years, it might be good for short term. Quite confused and i am rather fence sitting. I have no carb days, then juicing vegan days, then normal bit of everything days.

Yeah i know. Being pre-diabetic though, the low carb sounds like a good long term diet for me. I dont want to get Type II diabetes anytime soon

My first forum entry
i have heard that high cholesterol is often linked with not enough sun exposure ( and hence vitamin D deficiency). You might want to research this. I take a fish oil supplement everyday, this should help too.

Fructose EEK
You wont give it up forever, just until you are the correct weight. Then eat it in moderation.
