I want to transform my lifestyle and weight to set a good example to my childre. Some of them are unhappy with aspects of their appearance. I'm unhappy with some aspects of their appearance and self-care. My goal is to sest an example that transformation is possible.
I've started telling myself that my shape and fitness level are just my family genetics when they are really a result of my lifestyle choices.I want to show that there are so many possibilities within our grasp. If we want to change, we can.
I'm also done bearing children and I feel I no longer need to keep a little extra fat around for the fetus' health (yes, that's what I've been acting on). I also plan to wean Juliette this month (March 2017) so the threat of her getting detoxification toxins in breastmilk as I diet won't haunt me. It's a great time for me.
Today is Shrove Tuesday and although I don't follow the lenten calendar religiously, the knowledge that others are fasting during Lent does give me pyschological strength to do likewise.
