I decided to try weighing in on Fridays from now on . . . I usually do much better during the work week than I do on the weekends. Does anyone have any tips for getting through the weekend without a gain?
This week I roasted some vegetables and I've been eating them every night for supper!

I'm not struggling with this way of eating, like I have with others in the past, but I'm not losing quickly either . . . all in all I suppose at my age any weight loss should be a plus.
I had a good week exercising every day. It was the first week of school and very busy but I got a lot done and I just FEEL healthier!
I went shopping yesterday and bought more healthy food and practised some new exercises.
I would love to be able to eat like this and move like this from now on!
I think I may need to adjust my meal portion sizes.

Saturday: This morning I was down a pound . . . during the week I fluctuated from 3 pounds over to 2 pounds under my original starting weight . . . On the days that I follwed the program completely, I was usually down. There is no real CHEATING I guess as you can eat almost anything. My doctor's appointment went well . . . lo & behold I need to watch my diet and get plenty of exercise . . . seems I've heard that somwhere before! Last night I made a huge batch of Lentil Stew in my crockpot so that I'd have plenty of healthy things to eat this weekend . . . weekends are difficult for me.
Things to watch out for: NO HOTDOGS! [too salty for me]; No late night cereal snacks [try fruit instead].
I'll log in my weight tomorrow gain or lose!
