06 January 2009

I think I've been doing pretty well. Although two items made me feel guilty; I had Fritos and a cookie. The Fritos were actually a part of science class so I didn't have much of a choice. It was a mini-bag and I was a bit hungry so it was all good. I didn't really have lunch until I got home, around 4, which was the lightly toasted begal with cream cheese. I didn't have any money to spend at school for lunch so I went over to my Grandma's, which is where I had that cookie and a handful of baked chips. Maybe not the best snack but it was definitely the healthiest of my choices. I drank two glasses of water to make up for it, and to fill me up.

Then blahblahblah, went to school, did school. After school the first thing I did was play many rounds of ping pong and air hockey with my friend. And I am FIERCE so believe me when I say it was a work out. Then ate my bagel. A game of pool, followed. My friend left around 5:30 so that was an hour and an half of activity.

I went in my room and relaxed on my computer for a bit. Then I noticed I had glasses and plates piled up and felt the pang of guilt so I decided to do the dishes and unload and load the dishwasher. When I got to the kitchen with my things I found there was barely room for mine. That took a long while. I actually don't like to do dishes and don't do them often because I have a bad back, I think. My lower back strains and it really hurts when I stand still for too long. But the funny thing is it's only when I'm doing something, like the dishes. Usually it's not unbearable but it can get there. It occurs when I'm playing ping pong/air hockey/pool too. I guess it's not really a recent problem but I never gave it much thought and now I can't help but notice it. I should probably go to the Chiropractor soon-ish. It might effect me later on, in a work out or something.

Then, my step dad brought home Subway. Ugh, I couldn't resist, of course. =D Great timing because I had just finished the dishes. It was really light, Turkey, lettuce, American cheese, but there was mayo on it. I've heard you shouldn't really add that sort of stuff, so I felt unsure eating it.. but it sure was good. Subway is my favourite and I haven't had it a lonng while. Good stuff. I downed it with water, of course (usually it'd be a Sprite. I'm gonna miss that, not gonna lie.) I drank water the rest of the night.

Not too long after that I went downstairs to practice more pool. Shortly in though I changed my mind and worked out/danced instead. It wasn't too structured but I made sure to add plenty moves in there. It was really fun. Working out last summer felt so good, I can't wait to back into it. =D Unfortunately I gained it back because I can't focus when school stresses me out so much. But that's why I'm here, it's a new year and I want to seep out of my depression.

Tonight I used Jillian Michaels' moves and Darren Hayes' Time Machine Tour concert DVD to dance/sing to. I started at 7:50 and I ended at 9:00 (two 5 min. breaks and water in between of course). Good stuff.

I did not expect my journal entry to be this long, lol. Oh well it's fun.

Edited to add: Oh and I also have to change my weight (the 145 was just a guess). I weighed myself today and I'm actually 155. =(
