Well, over the Holidays, my boyfriend (who eats the same way I do), and I, decided that we were going to not watch what we were eating, and just enjoy the season. It was fun, until my tummy started to revolt. I gained 5 pounds, and my stomach didn't like it. Plus I felt sluggish and tired and all weighed down. I got right back on the wagon, and am feeling much better. It's amazing. I don't miss the sweets as much as I thought I would. It was nice to be able to eat pasta again though. I do miss that. Potatoes too.

This is so frustrating.......I have followed the induction phase to the T and I am not dropping much weight at all. No sugar what so ever. Scanning labels, making sure there isn't the tiniest amount. My clothes seem to be fitting better, and I know I don't have much to lose, but give me a break!.

Well, it's the beginning of the week. How did I do over the weekend? I think I did great. My Keto strip was dark red, that is a good thing. However, after being on this diet and needing to lose over 40 pounds and losing it, and now needing to just lose 10 or so, it's taking forever. I know, some of you are saying.....geezzz, only 10? Well, because I threw away all my bigger clothes, because I vowed to never get that big again, I can't afford to gain anything, and I like myself at the smaller weight, so I really don't want to get too much past it, because it does creep up on you fast. Takes forever to take off and then in one weekend, it seems it's all back again.
I weigh myself about every Wed. or so. Hopefully I will be down a few pounds by then, or maybe even one, that would be great.

Obviously, with this diet, I stay away from Carbs (starch and sugar). The hardest part of this diet for me is staying away from salty crunchy things. I'm good with the no sugar part. :o( And, in the very beginning of this diet, you can have NO sugar at all. So, you have to be very careful what you eat. Like cucumbers for example......They have sugar in them. Dang it! It's crunchy and I can put salt on them. lol Found that out today. Not only a little bit, but a lot. And Pasta.....I never realized that I make so many dishes with pasta. Not until I couldn't have it anymore.
So, what I do is tell myself, it's not like you can't ever have it ever again, just not right now. And, when I do get to start introducing things like that back into my diet, it will only be a little bit. Not the huge servings I was taking before. That's my downfall. Portion control.
