I haven't quite met my 10k daily step goal but that is due to understandable circumstances. I have not been able to track my food as well either, but I know I am not exceeding 2k calories and that I am eating Keto friendly foods.

I've dropped 10 pounds since I've started and am showing moderate Ketosis now. That shows that I've lost most of the water weight!

Last night I made sausage, egg and cheese casserole for myself and my friends. I also setup a pot roast at home which literally took just a couple of minutes to get started and it smells very good. I didn't add anything though beyond seasonings but that's okay.

A friend of mine is interested in starting Keto. I got him a bunch of Keto cook books and have given him some pointers. After reading the books I see I might want to get them for myself. I might have a Keto buddy IRL! Woo!

I'm embarrassed to post my weight but suffice to say I managed to balloon back up more than half of the total weight I had lost. That's what happens when you let yourself eat whatever you want whenever you want. I just need to moderate period, whether I'm on Keto or not, and that's just got to be a life thing.

Hello everyone! Long time no see.

I've been struggling with depression and anxiety for quite some time, and I am finally seeking help for it. The depression got so bad that I actually started to lose weight as I had no desire to eat, but that was solved with new medication and an important change in my life that helps make me want to keep going. Honestly, it has been a lot better this last month than it has been for years, but I've let myself go again with the full intent of starting over in January.

I've got my snacks ready to go and am preparing food for the next few days. I have a meal prep plan ready to go and an exercise plan. I am trying to not let the negative things in my life keep me from pursuing my goals. It is difficult with time constraints and the constant pain, but if I use that as an excuse I'll never get anything done! So here we go again.

The game plan is as follows!

Meal Prep Days: Sunday and Thursday
Exercise Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Cardio Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Daily Goals:

10k+ Steps (If I do not reach the goal by the time I am off work, I will go walk to get the rest of the steps!)
1.5k - 2k Calories (5% Carbs, 70% Fat, 25% Protein)
8 Hours of Sleep

So I did a terrible thing today... I bought this Halotop Chocolate Ice Cream... and had a spoonful...

Honestly, it is pretty good! I might add some of my own home made goodies to it to make it more interesting like dark chocolate almonds or something to give me some variety, but it was not bad at all. Let's just say I wanted to eat more than one bite :(.

I'm oddly doing better today than I thought. Mentally and emotionally I feel much better than I usually do. I'm not sure what the difference is.

One thing I think that might have been is that I was showering and I was looking at my calves and I was thinking, I don't remember them looking that defined before. I'm wondering if all that walking is having an impact there. I only slept about 5 hours but my back wasn't that bad this morning. Which is surprising considering I worked about 16 hours yesterday!
