Starting today. Keeping track of everything that goes in my mouth. At 176 lbs it takes 2112 Calories to maintain my weight. If I cut calories by 300 I should start losing fat along with exercising. Works in theory. I have tried everything else, we shall see how long it takes to lose 10 pounds. My first goal to the ultimate goal. I am going to do it this time.

Day 1: Made my goal for today. Stayed under my RDI and exercised today.
Started a food Journal today. I am feeling good about this. I have started to create a schedule of foods to eat daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner that will be a constant for the weeks ahead. for instance from now on, for dinner, we will eat vegetarian Pasta on Sundays, fish/seafood on Monday, Tuesday will be poultry, Wednesday will be pasta again (cause Dr Weil recommends pasta 1-2 times a week on his anti-inflammatory food pyramid!) Thursday will be eggs, Friday- fish/seafood and Saturday- lean beef or pork for the hubby and vegetarian for me. This way I can plan accordingly. I have also planned a grain for every day. This was always my hardest part. What and the daily servings of what foods. Dr Weils Pyramid has helped immensly. God does answer prayers he has led me to what I need to succeed and this web site is part of the plan. Really going to make an effort to not eat anything made from flour. Only whole grains
