I am a 59 yr-old member of a retirement community in the Quad-Cities in Illinois. I am a self-employed entertainment musician and a church organist. In Sept., 2010 I sold my home and moved in here, where I am the youngest member in the villas, Independent and Assisted Living apts. I live in the Independent apartments, where the rent covers food, electricity, water, cable and the security of a locked door system. They offer activities, movies, entertainment, social events, a library, maintenance staff, housekeeping, free laundry facilities, lifeline system and just good old-fashioned friendships.
