10 days later and I've lost 1.8 pounds! Not too bad. I'm working out almost every day (the days I'm not, I end up doing enough housework to make Martha Stewart jealous, so I call it even). I start school in a week and I'm hoping I can keep it up. Maybe instead of stress eating I'll just be too stressed to eat? Totally unhealthy ha. Luckily with the way my schedule works out, I can eat at home for almost every meal. No take out! Only thing I'm not happy with is water intake. I forget to drink. Going to get a water bottle and commit myself to drinking at least one-two each day. Here goes another week!

So here I am. Day one of attempting to recommit myself to a healthier lifestyle. I graduated from Undergrad in December and stayed at school to work up until July of this year. I do really well at school, usually. I eat better, work out more, and am just generally healthier. Then,I come home. I don't cook my meals and totally let myself eat like crap. It's not my parents' fault; I just have really weird eating habits associated with being at home. It also doesn't help that I spent two weeks in Europe where I had to eat out (delicious) food all day errday. I move to Chicago in a few weeks for Grad school and am trying to really kick start my academic year right. Eating more fruits and vegetables, eating less processed foods, drinking a lot of water, working out more and staying focused but not stressed . I'm not usually a big journal-it-up kind of person, but I think it will help me stay committed, so here it goes! Good luck to all other lifestyle changers out there!
