WAY over my calorie intake today and didn't even really indulge like I did yesterday. Certainly makes me realise it's not just HOW MUCH I eat. A lot of it comes down to WHAT I eat. Am not having ridiculously high expectations for tomorrows weigh in. I have decided I'll just use this week as my starting base and a learning curve.
Exercise was awesome today though. Took the youngest for an hour walk to the park. Had a big play with him. Then an hour home. Tired him out thats for sure, as well as burning a good amount of calories. (Lucky I did my walk or today would have been a total failure) Again, will have to wait and see how tomorrows weigh in pans out. The more I repeat "tomorrows weigh in" the more apprehensive I am about even doing it lol.

2.5 KILOS DOWN!!!!!!!! And there I was hoping for at least 500 grams in the first week! Am very very happy with that. Not going to go silly though. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and try to up my exercise a little more each day. (Shouldn't be hard with my youngest keeping me busy)
So there you go. First week wasn't so bad after all. My challenge to myself this week is ZERO chocolate and ZERO alcohol because I did indulge a little on Sunday with it being Mothers day and all. Wish me luck!

Day 5. Mothers Day today. And I got chocolate and a bottle of wine. "Oh dear" was my first thought.... But you know what. I still managed to have less calories than I was supposed too. So today taught me that with a glass (or two) of wine and a bit of chocolate it's not the end of the world for me. The only thing I'm a little concerned about is no exercise again today :-( So I'm promising myself here and now that tomorrow I'm going to get in as much 'last chance training' in as I can. Two more days until my first weigh in.

Day 4 has been an AWESOME exercise day! Took the littlest out to the park in the morning. I ran circles around him, did 50 star jumps, 20 sit ups and felt like an overall goose because all he did was laugh at me. But hey, he was HAPPY and so was I! Then this afternoon I managed a whole hour and a half of my walk. (Roughly 6km's)
So I finally feel like I can do this. Just needed to give myself the big kick up the bum! Food wise was also really good. I can afford to have some chocolate with my calorie intake today but I'm choosing not too. If I can make it through this ONE WEEK with no chocolate then I will be able to do another week no dramas.

Day 3 has definitely been the hardest day for me. Did no exercise AGAIN today. Spent the day trying to keep my teething boy happy and only managed an hour of housework. So not impressed with myself these past two days exercise wise. Lack of motivation and craving for chocolate this evening..... what a terrible mix!
Fingers crossed tomorrow is a better day and I can make it a 4th day under my recommended calorie intake. So far that's the only thing I've managed to maintain. So with any luck I can still manage to lose a BIT..... I decided today that I will be happy with 500 grams per week loss. I know that doesn't sound like very much, but its a start. Fingers crossed I can at least manage that. Hoping that will be the kick in the butt that I need to get exercising.
