Took me some time but I finally did it! Stay focused, LEARN to make delicious healthy food so you don't miss the unhealthy food! I eat and feast on the most exiting ways to make veggies, I'm happy every time I sit down for a meal and people comment on how good my plate looks. The trick is to know how to put it all together, even when you have to rely on someone else's cooking.
Find your go to meals, your easy fixes and make sure you slide in a HEALTHY desert now and then so you don't go for a pure sugar sentence to a downward spiral!

They say the way to reverse diabetes is to keep the blood glucose levels under 100. Between shedding off over 20 lbs, drastically changing my diet and working out 6 days a week, not only was I able to follow watching my blood glucose levels decrease in increments of 10's - example starting out around 160-220 then 150-200 then 140-180 etc, etc. Last few weeks I was in the teens and today for the fisrt time - COMPLETELY on my own!! As in, no medication, lots of broccoli and a steady routine - WAIT FOR IT..... 94!!!!!
For those of you expecting 2 numbers as in the examples above the first number is called "fasting" and the second is "after eating." Fasting is before eating or at miminum 2hrs after a meal, some would say 3hrs after a meal.
I'll have to monitor very closely over the next week. Make sure to continue steady on my regimen, this totally takes me into new territories. I studied so hard on how to reverse diabetes, I don't really know what happens when I do, (if I really can). One thing is for sure though, I'm in control of myself again. I may not be able to control much of anything, but its really nice to feel like I have one less thing hanging heavy on my shoulders
I am what I eat!
