Day 4- I almost didn't workout today! I wanted to just hold my baby all day after surgery....well I held her 90% of the day....and was about to use her as an excuse to not work out...but my loving husband was good at motivating me to go...so I went to the gym for the 4th day in a row and had a great workout! So proud of myself :)

Jan 4- Day started out a little stressful as we took our 8 mos old for a planned surgery at Children's. Everything went great and it's my habit to eat out of stress-- but I fought it! I've managed to stick to my RDI still :) I might even sneak in a workout while my husband stays with our daughter. My jeans feel loose today-- and that is not normal for me, I like how it feels!

Day 3- Feeling sore still from my first 2 days at the gym, but again it's a great reminder of what I'm doing :) Don't think I'll make it to the gym today, my 8month old is having surgery tomorrow at Children's and I'd like to not send her to daycare so I can devote the whole day to her and cuddle. However, I will still do something! Probably exercise at home doing an excercise tape. Too cold to take baby outside for a walk, but I can always do something at home. NO EXCUSES!

Day 2: Woke up a bit sore from working out yesteday, but it's a great reminder that I WENT to the gym! Lost .8 of a lb overnight. Just had breakfast, and instead of using a giant bowl and free-pouring my cereal, I used a measuring cup and followed the serving size on the box. I also measured the skim milk to one cup exactly. I'm surprised I'm actually not hungry!
Going to the gym in a little while :) Feeling motivated!

January 1, 2011: I am ready to make a change and lose the baby weight! I have a goal of losing 20lbs. I want to be healthy, and active so I can be a role model for my daughter to live an active lifestyle and eat a variety of healthy delicious foods!
